Linen Love

A little something I worked up last night. I was sort of obsessed with doing something with some of my new hexies so I put them on this cute little linen pouch.

And here's the back.
I made this tiny twill tape tag (say that three times fast!) with my first initial. It serves no purpose other than I thought it was a cute detail.

And here's a peek at the lining, along with a completely useless teeny tiny pocket. I thought it would be big enough to hold my driver's license but I clearly measured wrong, or sewed wrong, or something because it's about an eighth of an inch too small. Oops.

And there you have it. I wish I was better at putting in zippers. Maybe I need to make about a gazillion more little pouches for practice.

  1. I love your little hex-owls!

I always like the way linen looks, but I've never sewn with it. I should get some and get with the program. :)

  2. This is so cute! You could put hex papers in the tiny pocket, it could be your traveling hex kit!

  4. I appreciate your honesty about the too - small pocket as that is something I do chronically! That tag is a great detail and I think you already know how I love those owls!
